Vann Ferderber is a Filipino-Canadian writer-director based in Toronto, creating hybrid-fiction narratives that are an intertwined knot of magic and the everyday.

He is a current MFA Graduate Film Student at York University, and was awarded The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Grant for his most recent short film, currently in Post-Production.

Vann is a member of the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto, and his work has screened at festivals including the Vancouver Asian Film Festival.

When he isn't behind the camera, Vann’s goal is to find and move into a haunted house, where he hopes to bounce ideas off its spectral inhabitants.
